Update: Thursday, April 16 - New Online Ordering

We hope this update finds you in good spirits and better health.  Hard to believe it’s been almost a month since we’ve closed our doors to the public and became a drive-up spot, but thanks to you, you’ve made that possible.  We can’t thank you enough for all your support and patience, as we’ve navigated through these unchartered waters together.

While we’re fortunate that this transition was a little easier for us since we’ve always provided online ordering as part of our service, we were quickly made aware of its limitations when put to frequent use.  For this reason, we’ve spent the last few weeks searching for better options and are excited to announce we’ve made the switch to ChowNow, a much more user-friendly and efficient online ordering platform.

In the coming weeks, we’ll also be re-launching the much-improved Juniper Hill mobile app that will make ordering easier than ever.  We’re really excited about this change and we’ll be sure to let you know when it’s available for download.  In the meantime, please un-install the old Juniper Hill app; it will no longer work and visit to place your order for curbside pick-up. 

With this update, nothing really changes for you, other than the look and ease of ordering.  It will still all work the same, once you re-establish an online account.  To order online for curbside pick-up please visit our website and follow the same process of ordering online: choose the “order online” button and follow the prompts to complete your order.  Please pay extra attention to the following details:

  • Choose your pickup date & time in the top left corner.  You may schedule a pick-up time up to 4 days in advance.
  • Select Curbside pickup and make a note of the color and type of car that will be picking up your order; you may also include any special instructions that make you feel more comfortable during the pick-up (i.e. leave outside of car, place in trunk, etc.)
  • While choosing menu options, please be sure to include any dietary restrictions or specific handling needs. 
  • Confirm pick-up time and date before placing order.  If this is your first time ordering through our new system, you will be asked to create a secure account or sign in through google or Facebook. 
  • An email confirmation will be sent once order is placed and again, when order is confirmed.  Please note the confirmed pick-up time as it may shift up to 30 minutes from your original request; this new feature is in an effort to decrease wait times at the curb during our peak pick-up hours.

Update: Wednesday, March 18

As of today, we are offering curbside pick-up Tuesday – Sunday, between 1 and 6 PM. We will not be open to the public during this time. Crazy as it sounds to not welcome you in to order & takeaway, we’re doing our best to minimize social interaction and hopefully help slow this thing down.
We’ve put together a food & drink TO GO menu, which is now available for online ordering through our website and mobile app – think J Hill favorites, salads, wood-grilled pizzas, sandwiches, burgers and shareables. We’ve done our best to include what we think you’ll be looking for, but if there’s something you’re craving (or ANYTHING you need), please let us know!
Please visit or download the Juniper Hill app through your app store for easy ordering access. Here, you’ll be able to order, pay and set the day/time you’d like to pick up your order. Orders will be available for curbside pick-up at our makeshift “drive-thru”, located near our employee entrance near the patio. Simply text us your name with last initial at 917.536.2662 when you arrive. *must be 21 or older to purchase wine or beer - please bring your ID.

Update: Monday, March 16

As this situation continues to change and evolve, we will continue to do our best in balancing the needs and safety of our community with employee livelihoods.  We wish it didn’t mean social distancing ourselves from you all, but at this point it does.

We will be closed for a few days as we take a little extra time to plan ways to best serve our community over the coming days/weeks.  We plan to re-open for take-out on Wednesday, March 18 between the hours of 2-6 PM.

In addition to a special food and beverage menu being launched, a number of our guests have subscribed to weekly meals with us.  If this is something you’re interested in doing, please contact Josh directly at and he will work with you to create a weekly menu package, specific to your family’s budget, needs and dietary restrictions.

Please continue to watch this space for menu offerings and any additional information we may need to pass along to you as we don’t want to clutter your inboxes!  This is a difficult time, but it will pass.  In the meantime, we all need to work together to “flatten the curve” and we will do our best to help keep you fed.

As a service provider, it is always our goal to best serve you.  We work hard to welcome you into a setting that is as much warm and welcoming as it is clean and safe.  Now more than ever, we are working hard to provide a comfortable and safe space where you can enjoy a little food and drink and take a break from it all, while we do our part in keeping you, as well as our entire team healthy during this time of uncertainty.

Like you, we are closely monitoring the situation and evaluating our daily routines.   As a recipient of a gold star of excellence rating from the Health Department, keeping a clean and sanitized restaurant has always been and continues to be our top priority at Juniper Hill, as is operating with the highest levels of care when handling food.

Due to the current situation, we are taking extra precautions above and beyond our stringent cleaning, sanitizing and food handling practices throughout the restaurant to ensure we are doing our best to keep everyone around us healthy.  We’re all stocked up with commercial-grade sanitizers and anti-bacterial soaps/wipes and giving extra attention to common spaces such as bar/tabletops, doorknobs, bathrooms, chair backs and check presenters.  We meet daily with the team to review and/or adjust our protocol and remind them to remain home should they not feel well. 

Despite these added measures, we understand you may feel more comfortable dining in the comfort of your own home.  If this is the case, please remember our entire menu, including bottled wine and beer and draft beer growlers, is available TO GO – and we'd be happy to bring it to you curbside.  You can order via phone (908.335.8905), online at or via our mobile app.  Should you have any questions or special requests, please don’t hesitate to ask!

We will continue to follow updates and adhere to recommendations from the CDC and our local Health Departments and update you with any changes via Facebook and Instagram.  Keeping the community well is a combined effort by all – we’re all in this together!  We will do our best to balance safety and service and we ask you to keep washing your hands, stay well and keep us informed as to how we can best serve you and our community.  If you’re not feeling well, please stay home and order in…and we promise, our team will do the same.  This is best for everyone.
